Video of the Week : Bank Dance

Things have been moving slow in the site redesign/email answering/music review front, but there will always be some time to have a quick post about a video.

This comes from last month's promos for the (500) Days of Summer movie featuring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Not actually a scene from the movie, it's a charming short from the director, Marc Webb, starring the two actors. See Summer and Tom show their dancing chops (who knew Joseph Gordon-Levitt was such an ace in somersaults?) The music is from acoustic folk duo She and Him, with Zooey on the breezy vocals, singing 'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here'.

You can also hit up Joe's own site hitRECord.org, for a bit more info about the video.

Video of the Week : Art School Girls

I'm back! My trip gave me a heap full of new music to blog about and with the stuff that you guys have submitted (which I'll be going through in the next few days) and the planned site revamp, I've definitely got my hands full.

So, to jumpstart the blog again, I offer this little video that begs to be shared.

There are two things that I've learned after watching this video : One - Art School girls look like girls  straight off an American Apparel catalogue and Two - You can combine an afro with a mohawk (though, this doesn't mean that you need to). This eye opening video comes to you via the boys from Ninjasonik. Enjoy!
