Why is this artist indie?
You've got to give these boys props for naming their band after the Thundercat's nemesis, Mumm-ra the ever-living. You would expect to get some death metal with that kind of a monicker, but surprisingly, Mumm-ra delivers the kind of rock that won't let you gauge your ears out. Why are they indie? They did get to sign up with Sony BMG and were slated to have a wider, more mainstream audience....until they up and left to disband and focus on other projects. And for this, they've placed a coveted spot in our indie music database.
