Why is this artist indie?

Often introduced as Junior, the small straight one and Senior, the big gay one - Junior Senior is a Danish duo that creates dancey, funky pop tunes. They scored the chart topping 'Move Your Feet' which was also featured in the 'White Chicks' soundtrack and TV's 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' as well as the US version of DDR Extreme. Junior Senior became known to the mainstream audience via their releases from independent music label Crunchy Frog. Split in 2008, the two are still very active in the music scene with Senior as a solo act and Junior with his indie band 'I Scream Ice Cream'.
