Why is this artist indie?
"If indie only means guitars (even the lovely Sarah Records-C86 jingle jingle guitars) as it was supposed to be in the 80´s and 90´s, then Evripidis and his Tragedies has only a pale chance, since there are hardly guitars in his songs. But if indie means doing things without money and without major support, just with the help of friends, having fun, playing wherever you can (from rooftops to bars, from summer festivals to friends´living rooms, from theaters to nightclubs), using whatever skills you got to the most (even if some of the members are not even musicians) while paying tribute to the bands you love, from the Beach Boys to the Velvet Underground, from the Shangri-las to the Field mice, from Magnetic Fields to Jonathan Richman and from Kate Bush to Orange Juice ...then maybe one day Evripidis and his Tragedies could be seen as an indie artist."
