This is the latest from the series of videos from Jarrod Gorbel (The Honorary Title) to promote his newest album called Devil's Made a New Friend. Here, Jarrod and pals - indie fashion designer Rachel Antonoff and Steel Train frontman Jack Antonoff, sample one of the singles off his album called Each Breath. This undeniably catchy song is a stripped down acoustic version, certainly something that'll pique your curiosity and definitely make you wait in anticipation for the album version, which comes out August the 31st.

Breton's Sharing Notes EP

We're still in DIY mode right now, as today's Video of the Week features a behind the scenes look at the making of experimental electropop collective, Breton's Sharing Notes EP. The album has gotten it's digital release this week, but the neat thing about getting the physical release is the one-of-a-kind box that comes with it. The CD is mounted in an aluminium tin containing a hand-made circuit board, parts list and instructions to create a fully working monophonic synthesiser, sounds from which are featured six track recording. The CD drops next week at Rough Trade, and is available for pre-order right now.

I know, I won't even apologize for any lapses in the regularity of my blog posts since it's become a common thing - then again, I always come back do I? And it's always with good stuff. This week we start (again!) with the Video of the Week. Despite the mix of kinky / gross in this video that is oh-so Japanese, the only Japanese thing about this is the Aiwa walkman that you see in the first few minutes. This one comes from French band Mondrian starring a cute Korean girl creating a monster of a sandwich. Directed by Spanish director Jesús Hernández, to kick things off again, our Video of the Week is  Mondrian's 'Last Breakfast On Planet Surf'.

Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie

This video goes a year back in 2009 for Oren Lavie's single 'Her Morning Elegance'. Since everything's going stop motion nowadays, I thought I'd show it to you guys if you happened to miss it from last year. It's not as elaborate as Coldplay's 'Strawberry Swing' video, but it's equally fascinating to watch and so much more charming. With a sleepwalking red-headed beauty accompanied by Oren Lavie's enchanting music - what's not to love?

They're also selling off the 2096 photos that make up the video - so if you want to have part of the video hanging up on your wall, you can check out the photo gallery here.

Video of the Week: Dan by Grovesnor

Our video of the week comes from Grovesnor, who's also known as Hot Chip drummer Rob Smoughton. As Grovesnor, he describes himself as a troubadour who looks like a teacher but sings like Usher.

Dan, plays out like a nice rom-com from a few years back that you missed out seeing, with music that  sounds like it came for the era of 80's adult contemporary smooth rock (whatever the heck that is). Somehow, the music sort of reminds me of Steely Dan - just because it's named Dan and Steely Dan is also the sort of thing that you might probably find on an adult contemporary smooth rock radio station.

Gerald from the Peep Show does a cameo, as well as Smithy from Gavin and Stacy.

As a plus, we've also got a few downloads available from Grovesnor's debut album Soft Return after the jump -

Our Younger Noise by Letting Up Despite Great Faults

I love videos that combine childhood imagination with young love. There's just something so beautifully vulnerable about it. Also, it helps that Letting Up Despite Great Faults creates such magical songs that make you fall instantly in love.

Letting Up Despite Great FaultsOur Younger Noise is our Video of the Week.

Giving Up On Love by Slow Club

Just because I'm a big fan of The Office and I love Slow Club - here's Gareth, looking far-removed from his dorky self in Slow Club's Giving Up On Love video.

The Soft Pack vs. the Kick-Ass crew

Just because I'm craving for some Kick-Ass -  Chloe Moretz, Clark Duke and McLovin in The Soft Pack's new video of Answer to Yourself is our Video of the Week.

You've probably been living under a rock if you haven't heard of Merton, the funny piano improv guy on Chatroulette. I wanted to put his first video up as Video of the Week the minute I saw it because : one, it's hilarious and two, it's music, and funny music to boot. But then I figured, since everybody's probably seen it, it would be a better idea if I had something else with it...like maybe a Q and A. So in the off chance that I could get some information about the mysterious piano improv guy, I send him a message on YouTube :

Love your video. Can I feature it on our site with a Q & A? P.S. How many pervs did you encounter?  I admit, I'm kind of scared to try it since I tried a similiar video chat eons ago and the first stranger I got pointed the camera straight at their balls. Got me scarred for life xoxo Cristina.

Elated, I receive a message back from Merton the same day :

Honestly, if you go on ChatRoulette, you are very likely to see some balls. On behalf of the male half of the species, I would like to apologize.Yes, that would be great to have a featured video on your site. I am also happy to answer some questions or provide some (true) background info. But I want to protect my anonymity for now, so I don't want to give my name or very specific details about my life, etc. - Merton

I happily send my questions in. I waited. The video went on to get 4 million hits. A few weeks later, just when I thought I wouldn't get a response, I got this in my inbox. Here now, is my Q and A with Merton, the ChatRoulette Piano Improv Guy -
